Philip Rockhammer is an ordinary guy from Sacramento, California. He doesn’t look or talk like an athlete, but make no mistake, Rockhammer is a professional athlete. “Unflinching Triumph” immerses the audience into the life of Philip and the underground world of Professional Staredown. From Phlip’s breakout success, to his tense showdowns with Staredown legend Tony Patterson, and his confrontations with his personal demons, we’re with him all the way. Philip’s voyage is at times joyous, often nerve-racking and occasionally heart-breaking.

This mockumentary chronicles Philip Rockhammer’s inauspicious rise to become the Staredown Champion of the World; staredown is a fictional sport in which two opponents stare each other in the eyes for as long as humanly possible until someone blinks. The film broke ground as the first feature conceived entirely for web release and was highlighted by the Wall Street Journal as a "Top 5 What-to-Watch", was nominated for a Webby, and recognized by Sports Illustrated as “the most amusing parody of 2006.”
